Glen A. Blankenbiller

Glen A. Blankenbiller, 45, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away of natural causes October 6, 2013.

He was the husband of Karen A. (Katzenmoyer) Blankenbiller.

Born in Reading he was a son of Sara Jane (Dautrich) Blankenbiller, Kutztown Manor, and the late Ray D. Blankenbiller.

Glen graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1986 and Berks Career & Technology Center in 2009, where he earned a Journeyman's License in plumbing.

He was employed by Reading School District, last working in September.

Glen was a member of Salem Shalter's Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brianne R. Blankenbiller who is a junior at Oley Valley High School. Also surviving is his step-son, Richard E. Hummel III, Oley.

Other survivors include: half-brother, Guy Kiedeisch, Sandwich MA, step-brother, Duane Blankenbiller, Topeka, KA, and two step-sisters, Debbie Spangler and Denise McKinney.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Salem Shalter's Lutheran Church, 2032 Mt. Laurel Rd., Fleetwood, PA 19522. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service, in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Shalter's Cemetery Co., at the above address, where he was the caretaker for 11 years.
