Gladys P. Turner

Gladys P. (Minnich) Bachert Turner, 88 of Hamburg died July 20 2013, in her residence. She was the widow of Norman S. "Tex" Turner who died February 21, 2009. Gladys was born in Auburn and was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Long) Minnich. She worked for many years at Windsor Knitting Mill, Hamburg as a sleeve turner. Gladys enjoyed attending bingo and flea markets. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren including her dog Molly. She is survived by 3 daughters, Cindy L. Gartner, Gloria wife of Robert Hamm and Geraldine wife of Larry Henn all of Hamburg. Gladys is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Gary Minnich, Auburn and Clayton Minnich of Schuylkill Haven. Graveside services will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA. 17011.
