Gladys S. Leinbach

Gladys S. Leinbach, 83, formerly of Bellevue Avenue, Laureldale, died Jan. 11 at 10:45 a.m. in Fair Acres Nursing Home, Lima, Delaware County.

Her husband, Carl H. Leinbach, died May 30, 2001.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Emma (Lloyd) Sterner.

Leinbach had been employed for 10 years as a secretary by Reading Steel Products.

She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church, Reading.

Leinbach was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Judith L. (Leinbach) Bowers, Glen Mills, Delaware County.

Other survivors include a brother, Russell Sterner, Reading, and a sister, Mildred (Sterner) Gauker, Allentown.

There are also two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
