Gladys L. Krebs

Gladys L. Krebs, 86, of Reinholds, died January 19, 2007 in Ephrata Hospital where she had been since January 17.

Born in Glen Rock, she was the daughter of the late Earl R. and Mamie V. (Yost) Krebs.

Gladys was a graduate of Duke University School of Nursing in 1942. Upon graduation, her entire class went overseas to help in the War efforts. Gladys served in 65 General Hospital, England during her time with the U.S. Army

She was the Registered Nurse Supervisor of the Operating Room for Victoria Hospital, Miami, FL for many years. Later, she was the owner/operator of Animal Lovers West, Coral Gables, FL. She was also past chaplain and flag bearer for the American Legion, Coral Gables.

She is survived by her niece Peggy Miller, Reinholds.
