Gladys E. Goas

Gladys E. Goas Gladys E. Goas, 84, formerly of West Lawn, died Dec. 2 in Rittenhouse Pine Center, Norristown, Montgomery County, where she had been a resident since August 2001.

Her husband, Harry R. Goas, died in October 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leah (Spangler) Kauffman.

Goas was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Sinking Spring.

She was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.

Goas was a life member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Inc., Reading.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah L. (Goas) Weidenhammer, Blue Bell, Montgomery County.

There are also two grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
