Giuseppe Gigliotti

Giuseppe Gigliotti, 91, passed away on July 24, 2024, at his Muhlenberg Twp. home. He was the husband of Concetta M. (Guzzi) Gigliotti. They married on August 15, 1957.

Born in Sersale, Catanzaro, Italy, he was the son of the late Serafino and Domenica (Capellupo) Gigliotti. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. Giuseppe was employed as a cabinet maker at Adelphi Kitchens until his retirement in 1997.

He was a member of Holy Rosary R.C.C. Giuseppe was a good family man. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He continued woodworking after retiring and enjoyed working around his home.

Giuseppe is survived by his wife, Concetta; two children, Carmela, married to Thomas Lodato, Fleetwood and Serafino, married to Candie (Snyder) Gigliotti, Muhlenberg Twp.; four grandchildren: Frank Lodato (Barbie), Marissa Smith (Tyler), Brandon Gigliotti, and Brittany Gigliotti, three great-grandchildren: Shane, Giovanni, and Giuliana; and brother, Vincent Gigliotti (Rina), Wyomissing.

He was predeceased by his siblings: Angelina, Anthony, and Carmela.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday July, 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 237 Franklin Street, Reading, PA 19602 with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. Viewings will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
