Giuseppe Belfiore

Giuseppe Belfiore, 90, of West Reading, died December 23, 2010 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Grazia (DiMaria) Belfiore whom he married October of 1944.

Born April 23, 1920 in Delia, Italy, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Lamagra) Belfiore.

Giuseppe was self-employed as a farmer in Italy and was employed in factory work in the United States of America.

He moved to the United States in 1970 and has lived in the same house in West Reading for the last forty years.

Giuseppe loved nature and was known for being a very caring and patient husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Also surviving is a son, Pasquale "Patrick", husband of Michelina (Spoto) Belfiore of Absecon, NJ; a sister, Grazia Bancheri of France; two granddaughters, Graziella Morgan and Rossana Belfiore and a great grandson, Vincent Hugh Morgan.

Giuseppe was predeceased by a sister and three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Franklin and Third Streets., Reading. A viewing will be held from 8-9 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.
