Gertrude E. Strauss

Gertrude E. Strauss, 98, of Reading, passed away on April 9th at Berks Heim.

Her husband, Harold J. Strauss, passed away on April 7, 1977. They celebrated their 50th year wedding anniversary before he passed away.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Cora (Degler) Labe.

She is survived by one brother, Robert C. Labe, El Paso, TX.

Gertrude is also survived by her nephew, Ronald, husband of Priscilla Wessner of Reading.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements. www.christfuneralhome.com
