Gertrude Stella (Greenly) Becker, 87, of Maidencreek Township, died June 20, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was married July 23, 1942 to Clifford Otto Becker, who died January 16, 1991.

Born in Reading, PA on October 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late George and Clara (Prutzman) Greenly.

She was a 1941 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Stella was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Muhlenberg Township.

She is survived by two children: Gary C. Becker, with whom she resided and Sandra E. (Becker), wife of Gary L. Land Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.

Other survivors include two grandchildren: Lowell L., husband of Julie D. (Howser) Land of Corinth, Texas and Laura L. (Land) Lee of The Colony, Texas.

There are also six great grandchildren: Jessica D. (Wilson), wife of Oton Betancourth of Corinth, Texas; Jace C. Wilson of Dallas, Texas; Taryn E. Land of Corinth, Texas; Addyson N. Lee of The Colony, Texas; Jackson C. Lee of The Colony, Texas and Noah L. Land of Corinth, Texas.

Stella is also survived by a great great granddaughter, Mia Betancourth of Corinth, Texas.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery, Montgomery County.
