Geraldine Lee Walls

Geraldine "Gerry" Lee Walls, 85, formerly of Pennside, passed away on July 23, 2025 at Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Samuel and Charlotte (Busch) Stallone. She was the loving spouse of Robert B. Walls, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage until his passing in 2015.

Gerry was a 1957 graduate of Mount Penn High School. She worked as a housing Rehab Specialist with the City of Reading, until her retirement in 2001.

Gerry's faith was important to her. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Glenside, where she loved singing in the church choir.

Gerry was filled with artistic spirit. In her younger years, she was a dancer. She was an accomplished piano player, a vocalist, and performed in community theater. A life-long dog lover, she had many beloved furry companions over the years. Her most cherished role was that of a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Greg Walls (Laura), of Wheaton IL, Lori Correll (Barry) of Kempton, and Brian Walls (Dawn), of West Reading. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Brittany (Jason), Courtney, Matthew, Taylor, and Camryn and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Parker.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at Christ Lutheran Church, 1301 Luzerne Street, Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church at address above or the Animal Rescue League at 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
