Geraldine E. Russo

Geraldine E. Russo, 87, Reading, died March 30, 2011 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Samuel M. Russo.

Born in Wyoming, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Ann Margaret (Shatrouski) Kunz.

Geraldine worked at the Reading Hospital as a dietitian from 1950 to 1956. During that time, she met Samuel M. Russo and they were married in June of 1954.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena RC Church.

Geraldine is survived by her four children: Geraldine A., Memphis, TN.; Charles T., Reading; Patricia A., wife of Kirk Mathews, Clifton Park, NY.; Christopher J., Wescosville, PA.

She had three grandchildren: Christopher J. Mathews, Joseph S. and Isabelle M. Russo.

She was predeceased by her two brothers: Charles and Albert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA 19606. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
