Geraldine M. Holl

Geraldine M. Holl, 88, formerly of The Manor at Market Square, passed away July 15, 2013 in Berks Heim.

She was the widow of Harold H. Holl.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Emma R. (Chelius) Bauer.

Geraldine worked for Crompton & Knoles for over 24 years, retiring as a lab technician in 1992.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels, R.C. Church, Hyde Park, where she sang in the choir for over 30 years.

Geraldine was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with her cat, Ashes.

She is survived by her son, Robert G., husband of Marsha Holl, Robesonia; her daughter, Kathleen E., widow of Donald Biehl, York; her brother, Nicholas G., husband of Michele Bauer, Hamburg. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Tracy L., wife of Thomas Visbisky; Steven R., husband of Mary Holl; Brandi A. Holl and Alexander E. Biehl and six great-grandchildren: Victoria, Jessica, Amber, Kaleb, Brenden and Donavan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
