Geraldine Babb

Geraldine Babb, 84, passed away on July 16, 2024. Born in Reading on September 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Gierot) Babb.

She graduated from Reading Catholic in 1957 and worked at Berkshire News for many years until her retirement. Geraldine was known to her family as "Aunt Sis" and loved spending any time she could with them. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies from reading, doing word searches and crosswords, and listening to the radio. She held a lot of pride for her hometown and knew Reading like the back of her hand. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Reading.

Those cherishing Geraldine's memory are her sister, Theresa (Babb) Hoch, husband of Gordon; sister-in-law Patricia Babb; and a number of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and her brother Joseph "Sonny" Babb.

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 at the Gethsemane Cemetery's Chapel of St. George at 11 a.m., with inurnment to follow.
