Geraldine B. Farrell

Geraldine B. Farrell, 101, formerly of Kenhorst, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, in the care of Mifflin Court. She was the widow of Donald Brodhead Farrell, who passed away on October 9, 2020.

Born in Allentown on October 10, 1922, she was a daughter of the late J. Herbert and Bessie (Baer) Silfies. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1940. She married her beloved Donald on March 6, 1945, and they celebrated 75 happy years of marriage before his passing.

Geraldine was a dedicated and loving mother. For 25 years she worked as a clerk at Farr's Shoe Store at the Berkshire Mall alongside her husband.

Left to treasure Geraldine's memory are her sons: Jan S. Farrell, husband of Lynn, of Mohnton and Mark D. Farrell, husband of Pam, of Exeter Twp.; six grandchildren: Sloane, Ian, Lindsay, Chelsea, Kelly and Matthew; great grandchildren: Margaux, Maximus, Cohen, Pierce, Natalie, Ophelia, Jeremiah, Charlie, Louie, Cassidy, Allison, and two more expected great granddaughters on the way.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Thomas L. Farrell, and her daughter in law, Sandie Farrell.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Geraldine will be laid to rest with Donald at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
