Gerald Tarnofsky

Gerald Tarnofsky, 71, of Wolmesdorf, passed away December 5, 2016, in Ephrata Hospital.

He was the husband of Susan (Osetec) Tarnofsky. They married on August 31, 1980.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was a son of the late Julius and Ann (Yapalater) Tarnofsky.

He was a graduate of Aviation High School, NY.

For most of his life he worked as a computer engineer for Xerox, Honeywell, OCLC.

Gerald was a car enthusiast who enjoyed going to car shows with his Fiero Clubs members. He also enjoyed going to the shooting range with his friends to target shoot, and was an avid NY Giants fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: John Tarnofsky, Edison, NJ and Brian Tarnofsky, Clinton, NJ; and one granddaughter, Ava Tarnofsky, Clinton, NJ; and his loyal dog Paisley.

He was predeceased by his brother, Morris Tarnofsky.

Services will be Friday, December 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA. Burial will follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
