Gerald H. "Jerry" Pietrobono 81, of West Lawn, passed away November 27, 2014, in VA Hospice of Lebanon.

His wife, Joan A. (Golenbieski) Pietrobono, died March 30, 2007. They were married in SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church on September 6, 1958.

Born October 17, 1933 in Reading, he was a son of the late Gabriel and Carmella (Pietrantonio) Pietrobono.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War as a cook.

Jerry worked for Fine-Glass Shoe Factory, Brown's Trailers, Clark Equipment, Georgia Pacific and last working as a custodian at Wilson School District.

He was an avid walker and loved TV watching, his favorites being JAG and Texas Walker Ranger.

Jerry was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. He also attended St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Shillington, regularly since his wife passed.

He is survived by three children, Todd J., husband of Annmarie (Ostrich) Pietrobono, Robesonia, Sandra J. (Pietrobono), wife of Daniel Kelly, Muhlenberg Township and Sherry L. (Pietrobono), wife of Philip Stover, Denver.

Jerry is also survived by six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Julianna, Hannah, Emily, Brian and Sarah and his great-grandson, Noah.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Catherine (Chiarelli), Rose (Guadagno), Dorothy (Reber) and his identical twin, Daniel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 420 Holland St, Shillington, PA 19607. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611 and Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Lebanon VA Hospital Hospice Volunteer Services Mail Code 10 V, 1700 South Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
