Gerald Joseph Razzano

Gerald "Jerry" J. Razzano, 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the care of Reading Hospital. Born in West Reading to the late Patrick J. and Clara L. (Neidert) Razzano, he celebrated 68 years of marriage to Mary Ann (Limpus) on September 29.

He attended Reading High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army during Korea. He retired from Carpenter Tech. in 1997 after 35 years.

His family were his prized possessions. Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Mary Ann; their children, Steven, husband of Mary A.; Elaine, wife of Joseph Hiester; and Kevin, husband of Lisa; grandchildren, J.J. and Mark Wydra, Alex and Philip Razzano, and Sarah Gilbert; and great grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony, Gabriella, Hannah, Garrett, and Samuel. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Sassor. Gerald was predeceased by his daughter, Eileen Wydra, who is survived by her husband, Joseph, and by his siblings, Richard Razzano and Claire Kendig.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611, with committal to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum's Chapel of St. George. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the start of Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Sacred Heart Church at address above.
