Gerald Charles Brown, 47, died of colon cancer Dec. 15 in his residence on Hartz Store Road, Cumru Township.
Born in Ridley Park, Delaware County, he was a son of Howard M. Brown, Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Barbara (Hasselman) Miles, Milford, Conn.
Brown was a self-employed expert on pre-1972 Mercedes Benz automobiles for the past 20 years.
He was also a collector and restorer of antique American-made clocks.
Brown, who resided with his fiance, Cynthia W. Burns, is also survived by a brother, James H., Fernandina Beach; and three sisters: Diane (Brown) Clark, Easton, Md., and Tracy (Brown) Kiley and Emily (Brown) Cooker, both of St. Michael's, Md.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
