Georgine Ellwanger

Georgine Ellwanger, 68, of South Heidelberg Twp., died June 30, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Rev. Donald R. Ellwanger, to whom she was married for 37 years.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Cheslak) Satko.

She earned her B.S. from Philadelphia College of the Bible and attended Temple University.

Georgine was both a Christian school teacher and children's ministry director. She was a member of Community Bible Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, three grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with burial to follow in Hain's Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
