Georgiann E. Ciortan

Georgiann E. Ciortan, 46, of West Reading, entered into eternal rest on July 10th at the home of her dear friends, Rondelle and Troy Longenecker.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura (Swartley) Ciortan.

She was a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, and also the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1982.

Georgiann worked as a Registered Nurse for the Reading Hospital ICU Team.

She is survived by one brother, George A. husband of Carol Ciortan, Palmyra, Pa, and two nieces, Heather wife of Travis Hossler, Palmyra, Pa and Ashley Ciortan, Palmyra.

She also leaves behind countless friends and colleagues, many of who were essential to her care and encouragement throughout the illness.

There will be a Memorial service on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until the service.
