George C. Tait George C. Tait, 79, Flying Hills, died Dec. 4 at 7:55 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 27.
His wife, Elizabeth (Moore) Tait, died Dec. 21, 1995. His first wife, Bernice (Sheidy) Tait, died Oct. 7, 1974.
Born in Hammonton, N.J., he was a son of the late William and Minnie (Heller) Tait.
Tait had been employed for many years as a salesman by Berkshire International, Wyomissing.
He was a member of Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ, Wyomissing.
Tait was a graduate of Wyomissing High School.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Tait is survived by three sons: G. Terry, Greenfields; Randolph M., Cumru Township; and Timothy E., Adamstown.
Other survivors include a sister, Dorothy (Tait) Dickson, Flying Hills.
There are also five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Christopher S., in 1993.
Services will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
