George E. Staab

George Edward Staab Sr., 85, of Melrose Ave., Lower Alsace Twp., died June 16th at in St. Joseph Medical Center where he had been since

He was the husband of Helen B. (Brill) Staab.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George J. and Mary (Plank) Staab.

He was a welder for 30 years at Dana Corp., until his retirement in 1980.

Staab was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn.

He is also survived by a son, George E., Jr., of

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10am in St. Catherine's R.C. Church (Chapel), Mt. Penn. Viewing 9am until time of Mass in Church. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
