George D. Schwartz

George D. Schwartz, 83, formerly of Fleetwood died October 16th at 2:57 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was taken there from Berks Heim, Bern Township, where he had been since December 4, 2000.

Schwartz was the widower of Marie E. Schwartz.

Born in Slatington, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Hiram and Florence Schwartz.

He was a self employed watchmaker for 62 years in Fleetwood, before retiring in 2000.

There are no immediate survivors.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in Fleetwood Cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
