George Roboski Jr., a retired Maidencreek Township businessman, died March 16 at 4:05 p.m. in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where he had resided two weeks.
Roboski, 83, of Dries Road, Ontelaunee Township, was the husband of Thelma R. (Eisenhower) Roboski.
He was the owner-operator of the 222 Food Market, Maidencreek Township, from 1953 until his retirement in 1996.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George Roboski Sr. and Stella Roboski.
Roboski was a graduate of Ontelaunee Vocational School, Leesport.
He was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon.
Roboski was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a life member of the Blandon Fire Company.
Roboski is also survived by two sons, Jack M., Reading, and Scott M., Sarasota, Fla.
Other survivors include a sister, Stella Roboski, Flourtown, Chester County; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be private in Zion's Church Cemetery, Perry Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
