George Noga, 85, of West Lawn, died November 1, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
His wife, Isabel M. Noga, died April 19, 2001.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Hviest) Noga.
George was a 1943 graduate of Wilson High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII, serving on the USS Clark.
George was employed for 31 years by Carpenter Steel, retiring in 1987.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
George was a lifetime member of Sinking Spring, Berkshire Heights and West Wyomissing Fire Departments. He also was a member of West Lawn Quoiting Club.
He is survived by two children, Bruce A. Noga, Wyomissing and P. Michelle (Noga) O'Neal, Salem, NJ; his sister, Vera Losk, Verona, PA; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Calvary United Methodist Church, 831 N. Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
