George D. Mogel

George D. Mogel, Jr., 70, passed away, Sunday, April 12, 2020, in his Bernville residence.

Born in Reading, he is the son of George D. Mogel, Sr., and the late Caroline G. (Gechter) Mogel.

George was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic at many various places. George's true love in life was working on automobiles, and he was very good at it.

In addition to his father, George is survived by seven siblings: Jay E. Mogel, Gary L. Mogel, Jody Mogel Faust, Richard L. Mogel, Allen H. Mogel, Raymond F. Mogel, and Carl L. Mogel. Three step-siblings: Bryan Royer, Alan Royer, and Candis L. Snyder, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Nicke, also survive him.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 is in charge of arrangements.
