George E. Macsisak

George E. "Mac" Macsisak, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Linda L. (Curley) Macsisak, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Grynastyl) Macsisak. George served in the US Air Force from 1962 to 1968. He worked as a ladleman for Carpenter Technologies for 31 years until his retirement in 2008.

George was a member of St John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church in Shillington.

Left to cherish his memory is wife, Linda, of Kenhorst; son, David, of Baltimore, MD; brother Joseph of Mt Gretna; and several nephews and nieces. George was predeceased by brother Frank, and a nephew and niece.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 am in Chapel of St George at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.

The family are indebted to the staff at the Lebanon VA Hospice Unit for the extraordinary care and kindness shown to George for the past 20 months.
