George Stanley Kripas

George Stanley Kripas, Jr., 66, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, died November 4, 2013 in the Washington D.C. V.A. Medical Center.

Born in Pottsville, PA on September 14, 1947, he was a son of Elizabeth Adelle (Anderson) Kripas of Sinking Spring and the late George S. Sr.

He was a 1965 graduate of Pottsville High School and attended Kutztown University and Ursinus College.

George was employed 17 years with Schafers Brewery, Fogelsville.

He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

George is survived by three children: George S. III, of Jacksonville, Florida; Joseph J. Kripas of Womelsdorf and David F. Kripas of Womelsdorf.

Other survivors include two siblings: Elizabeth A., wife of William Seisler of Douglassville and Michael C., husband of Ann F. (Strauser) Kripas of Leesport.

There are also three grandchildren.

Prayer Services will be held Monday, November 11th at 1:30 pm in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
