George A. Huegler

George Allan Huegler, 71, died April 8th at 7:34am in his residence at 1006 Landover Drive, Muhlenberg Township.

He was the husband of Catherine E. (Weber) Huegler.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Anton and Emma (Vetter) Huegler.

He was a 1949 graduate of Newtown High School, New York City and a 1953 graduate of Cornell University. Huegler also attended Michigan State University.

He was a Army Veteran.

Huegler was employed as a Produce Buyer for 20 years at Acme Markets, Johnston Division.

He later worked as a Produce Buyer for Wetterau in the Tuckerton Office for 15 years before retiring in 1994.

Huegler is also survived by a daughter, Catherine B. Huegler of Muhlenberg Township and two sons, Peter A. Huegler of Muhlenberg Township and Joseph L. Huegler of Falls Township, Bucks County.

Other survivors include a sister, Barbara M. Huegler of Muhlenberg Township and two grandchildren, Emily C. and Ethan R. Huegler.

Services will be Thursday 12 noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Wednesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
