George Steven Hafer

George Steven Hafer, 50, of Amity Township, died in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

He was the son of D. Gene, who passed away July 26, 2009, and Arlene L. (High) Hafer.

George graduated from Daniel Boone High School in 1981.

He was a truck driver for 15 years.

In addition to his mother, George is survived by his siblings: Kevin G. Hafer, Amity Township, Eric G. Hafer, husband of Jill, Earl Township, and David G. Hafer, husband of Becky, Amity Township, and Mary E. (Hafer) Leftwich, Reading.

Other survivors include seven nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Oley Union Cemetery.
