George R. Fleming

George Russell Fleming, 81, of Temple, died April 13, 2008 at 12:40 pm in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 7th.

He was born February 26, 1927 in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

George was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed as an offshore fisherman his entire life, retiring in 1982.

George was a member of the Long Branch, New Jersey Veterans of Foreign War Post.

He is survived by four children; Rose M. wife of Steve Miers of Bismark, N.D.; William R. husband of Antoinette M. (Giarraffa) Fleming of Temple; Kathy M. Fleming of Cape May, N.J. and Terry G. Fleming of Ocean Grove, N.J.

There are also seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother.
