George F. Yeich

George F. Yeich, Sr., 91, of Wyomissing, died April 4, 2013, in the Highlands at Wyomissing.

His wife, Earline M. Yeich, died June 18, 2010.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William B. and Frances G. (Sloyer) Yeich.

He was a graduate of Girard College, Philadelphia.

George was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran serving as a 1st Lieutenant in WWII.

He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.

George was employed for 18 years by the Reading Eagle Company in the printing department until 1965. He later worked for the Government Printing Office for 20 years as their contract administrator, retiring in 1983.

George is survived by his son, George F. Yeich, Jr. Reading.

Memorial Services will be private. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
