George D. Ermentrout

George D. Ermentrout Jr., 76, died June 7 in his residence in Sinking Spring. His wife, Patricia M. (Hagmayer) Ermentrout, died in November 1968.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George D. and Loretta H. (Henke) Ermentrout.

Ermentrout was employed for 30 years as an underwriter by CNA Insurance Co., Reading, retiring in 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda M. (Ermentrout) Hanley, Shillington; and three sons: George D. III, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Gregory A., Shillington; and Geoffrey W., Pennside.

Other survivors include two brothers, Frederick C., Kansas City, Mo., and Jack W., Arlington, Va.; and three sisters: Rita (Ermentrout) Franco, Birdsboro; Margaret (Ermentrout) Horrigan, Wyomissing; and Loretta H. (Ermentrout) Chelius, Reading.

There are also seven grandchildren.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J.
