George W. Erb

George Wallace Erb, 78, died of natural causes April 19th in his York County home.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Charles W. and Mary E. (Bankes) Erb.

He was a Navy Veteran.

Erb was last employed a number of years as a guard at Den Supply Company, York until his retirement.

He is survived by a daughter of Brenda (Erb) Sherman of Philadelphia.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mary E. (Erb) Bachman of Muhlenberg Township and Edith E. (Erb) Witman of Mohnton.

There are also two grandsons and two twin great granddaughters.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
