George O. Bowman

George O. Bowman, 66, Perry Township died March 18, 2010 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Miller) Bowman. George was born in Allentown and was the son of the late Paul and Minnie (Henninger) Bowman. He worked for General Battery for 31 years before his retirement. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters: Minnie A. Wife of John Stumhofer, Sinking Spring, Wanda J. Bowman and May L. Bowman both of Perry Township and Holly S. wife of Max Domingo, Lansdale, and a grandson and a granddaughter, a brother Fred Bowman, New Tripoli and a sister, Dolly Andrews, Slatington. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd at 11:00 AM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamburg.
