George H. Auman

George H. Auman, 77 of West Wyomissing, died January 22, 2007 in the Mifflin Center where he had been a resident for the past two months.

He was the husband of the late Betty R. (Dadamio) who died October 5, 2005.

Born in Grill, he was the son of the late Elmer and Dorothy Auman.

George was a conductor and a brakeman for the Reading Railroad for 35 years, retiring in 1991.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

George is survived by two sons. Howard Peifer, Daytona Beach, Fl., and Jeffrey G. Auman, Wyomissing.

Others survivors include 4 grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 11:30 in the Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends may call Friday 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
