Geoffrey Michael Kofke

Geoffrey M. Kofke, 49, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Fredric Kofke (Patricia A. Stuckert Kofke) of Sinking Spring and Rita A. Paris of Reading.

A 1991 graduate of Exeter High School, Geoffrey was a self employed finish carpenter and a master carpenter by trade, working in both Berks and Chester Counties.

A gifted athlete, Geoffrey played on his high school varsity basketball team for two years. He also competed in the high jump, qualifying for states in his junior and senior years. In 1991, he became the Berks County High Jump Champion with a leap of 6'7". He also enjoyed golf, disc golf, and quoits. He loved volleyball; one of his greatest joys was teaching and watching his daughter, Drew, play.

Geoffrey was a friend of Bill's.

In addition to his loving parents and step mother, Geoffrey is survived by his daughter, Drew Ann Kofke, a student at LaSalle University; his siblings: Matthew S. Kofke of Sinking Spring; Alicia L. Schanely (Adam) of Oley; and Stephanie A. Owsiany (Christopher) of Wernersville; his step-brothers, Matthew B. Stuckert of Wyomissing and Kyle D. Stuckert (Kerry) of Kenhorst; and his many loving nieces and nephews: Benjamin, Paige, Carlisle, Rowan, Grayson, Josophine, Gordon, and Leela. He is also survived by his former wife, Kimberly A. Kofke.

Funeral Services for Geoffrey will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Tom Scornavacchi, at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with committal to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Pottstown. Friends and family are invited to gather Tuesday, November 9, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Geoffrey's memory may be offered to the Caron Foundation, Caron Development Office, 243 N. Galen Hall Rd, Wernersville, PA 19565.
