Genevieve E. Woellner

Genevieve Emily (Horodynski) Woellner, 80, of Muhlenberg Township, died May 27, 2010 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Louis Walter Woellner who died February 15, 1998.

Born June 11, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Majda) Horodynski.

Genevieve was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

She enjoyed going to casinos and the beach and she loved her cats.

Surviving are five children: Karen L. (Woellner), widow of Don J. Caruso of Narvon, PA; Mary Ann (Woellner) Bartal of Temple; Daniel J., husband of Lynn A. (McCann) Woellner of Maidencreek Township; Gregory L. Woellner of Drums, PA and John S., husband of Michelle A. (Staszewski) Woellner of Maidencreek Township.

In addition there is a sister, Renie, wife of Thomas Osiecki of Kenhorst.

Other survivors include seven grandsons, two nieces and one nephew.

Genevieve was predeceased by a brother, Walter S. Horodynski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
