Genevieve V. Iswalt

Genevieve V. (Dudek) Iswalt, 95, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Reading on January 5, 1927, to Stanley and Anna Dudek. Her husband was Joseph M. Iswalt of Pottstown. They were married for 38 years until his passing in April 1991. Genevieve was predeceased by her sister Mary Ely, also of Reading.

She is survived by 3 children: Joseph S. Iswalt married to Deborah (Werner) of Shillington; Annmarie Hoffa married to Gregory of Reading, and John M. Iswalt married to Heather (Fries) of Reading.

Genevieve is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Joel Iswalt, married to Shannon (Bare), Jason Iswalt, married to Rebecca (McNichol), Larissa Iswalt married to Jacob Miller; Reverend Allen J. Hoffa, Allison Hoffa married to Joseph Oros, Andrew Hoffa married to Danielle (Altavilla), Olivia Iswalt, Madeline Iswalt, John T. Iswalt, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's R.C. that is now combined with St. Catharine of Siena Parish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 23, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 250 S. 12th St, Reading, PA 19602, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at the above address. Edward J.
