Genevieve H. Maryniak, 90, Reading, died May 9 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient six days.
Her husband, Walter J. Maryniak, died Dec. 19, 1975.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Szott) Rozycki.
Maryniak was employed for 15 years as a bakery associate by Ciotti's Bakery, Reading, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Millmont, where she was vice president of the Holy Rosary Society.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn M. (Maryniak) Rutkowski, St. Lawrence; and four sons: Frederick W., Kenhorst; Anthony J., at home; Dr. Girard M., Wyomissing; and Walter E., Shillington.
Other survivors include two sisters,Victoria (Rozycki) Schwenk, Wyomissing, and Jean Rozycki, Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Maryniak, in 1950.
Friends may call Thursday 8:00 to 9:30 a.m at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
