Gene W. Werner

Gene W. Werner, 58, of the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, died August 13th at 4:25 am in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Franklin H. and Ruth E. (Coleman) Werner.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Werner was employed from November 12, 1973 to January 18, 2000 as a shipping clerk by the former W.R. Grace, Muhlenberg Township.

He was a Navy veteran.

Werner was a life member of the Temple Fire Company and a member of the Reading Comp. Booster.

He is survived by a sister, Carol L. Werner of Cumru Township and six brothers, Frank H. of Mohnton, Scott D. of Reading, Robert A. of Spring Township, Carl M. of Reading, Jamie N. of Reading and Eric T. of Kenhorst.

She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
