Gene R. Miller, 72, passed away on December 25, 2022, in his Wyomissing residence surrounded by his loving family. He is now in the arms of Jesus.

He was married to Marlene Bleiker. They were married for 52 years.

Born in Fleetwood, he was a son of the late Stanley Miller and the late Virginia (Kreidler) Trewin.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and earned his Associate's degree from Penn State Berks.

Gene was a machinist at Carpenter Technology for 32 years retiring in April of 2013.

Gene was a faithful man who loved the Lord and his family. He last attended Community Evangelical Church, Sinking Spring. He loved to do yard work both at his own home and helping others including his daughters' homes, and the neighborhood. Most importantly he loved his family; he especially adored his grandchildren and cherished his time with them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Monica, wife of Danny Allen and Michelle, wife of Eric Esterbrook; his sister, Sharon, wife of Charles Henke; and his grandchildren: Olivia, Alexander and Anna Allen and Emma, Anton, Eli, and Eric Esterbrook.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. at Community Evangelical Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary's Shelter. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is honored to serve the Miller family.
