Gary Lee Reinert, 78, of Wyomissing, died May 5, 2016, at the Lebanon Veteran's Hospital.
He was the husband of Marie T. (Tittermary) Reinert.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul, Sr., and Dorothy Marie (Hoffman) Reinert.
He was a graduate of Reading High School and Harrisburg Area Community College. He also attended St. Ignatius Parish RCIA Class of 1990.
Gary worked as a facility manager for IBM; a case worker for Service Access and Management and evening maintenance worker for St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church. He was a cast member who helped to open the Disney Store at Berkshire Mall.
Gary was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.
He was an active member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield where he served as a former Eucharistic minister.
Gary was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as past grand Knight, Light of Christ Council #8726 of St. Ignatius and past Faithful Navigator Pius 1X Assembly #930.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Robert Reinert; Stephen Reinert and Garilee. Two brothers: Norman, husband of Charlotte Reinert, York; Charles "Skip", husband of Janet Reinert, Blandon; one sister, Jacqueline, wife of Bill Salvatore, Exeter Township; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive him.
He was predeceased by four siblings: Paul, Jr.; Gerald; Shirley and June.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R. C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring. Burial will be at a future date in Washington's Crossing National Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to: charity of your choice. Edward J.
