Gary D. Orr

Gary D. Orr, 75, of Wyomissing, passed away January 11, 2022, at the Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband of Gail (Bagenstose) Orr.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Tischler) Orr.

He was a graduate of Reading High School and Kutztown University where he earned a bachelor's degree in education.

Gary was employed by Encompass Insurance as an underwriter.

He was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran.

Gary was a member of the Sinking Spring VFW.

One of the proudest moments he had was when he accomplished a hole in one at the Willow Hollow Golf Course.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister-in=-law, Sara Jane Orr; and seven nieces and nephews, Barbara (Todd) Dietrich, Julie (Jeff) Collett, Brett (Christin) Bagenstose, Matthew (Michelle) Orr, Peter (Andrea) Orr, Jared (Tina) Perella, and Justin (Carla) Perella.

He was predeceased by two siblings, William Orr and Patricia Kern.
