Gary B. Riegel

Gary B. Riegel, 70, of Reading, passed away August 5, 2026, at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Ralph and Leah (Deck) Riegel.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Gary was employed by General Battery, Arrow International and Dutch Electric.

Gary had a deep passion for stock car racing often immersing himself in the world of dirt track sprint car racing. He took delight in constructing model race cars and had a keen interest in music. Additionally, he found joy in assembling various jigsaw puzzles, frequently tackling intricate designs with numerous pieces.

He is survived by two siblings, David Riegel, partner of Veronica Monismith, and Rodney, widower of Amy Riegel; and three nieces, Teresa, Erin and Erica, and two nephews, Lee and Anthony.

Gary was predeceased by his brother, Steve Riegel and his sister, Cindy Eisenbise.
