Gail D. Bowdy

Gail D. Bowdy, 80 of Tilden Township died on February 9, 2016 in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bern Township. She was the wife of Milton J. Bowdy. Gail was born in Pine Valley, NY, Chemung County and was the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline (Farr) Dilmore. She was a 1953 graduate of Horseheads High School and was of the Catholic Faith. Gail worked as a collections manager for many years for Lafayette Bureau Credit Control retiring in 1998. In addition to her husband, four children, Wendy wife of Ronald Cooper, Frisco, Texas, John Michael Bowdy, Mohrsville, Timothy Alan Bowdy, Tilden Township and Richard Arthur husband of Rhonda Bowdy, Tavares, Fl. survive Gail. 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sylvia wife of Donald Osborne, Orlando Florida, and Sharon wife of James Hartman, Lebanon survives her. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, Pa. 19526. A viewing will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa. 19605.
