Gail L. Batastini

Gail Louise Batastini, 62, died October 4, 2009 in her Spring Township residence.

Born November 18, 1946 in Reading, PA., she was a daughter of the late Eugene A. and Jean E. (Eshelman) Batastini.

She was a 1964 graduate of Wilson High School and a 1968 graduate of Shippensburg University.

Gail was employed 34 years as a high school teacher with the Exeter School District, retiring in 2001.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Gail is survived by a brother, Bradley E., husband of Beth A. (Reinhard) Batastini of Newton, New Jersey.

Other survivors include two nieces: Danielle D. Merzatta and Diane J. Eshelman and two nephews: Nicholas L. Batastini and Eric R. Allatta.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:00 am in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, 2500 St. Alban's Drive., Whitfield. A visitation will be held Friday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. No public visitation will be held on Saturday. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
