Gabriel A. Nunez

Gabriel A.Nunez, 57, of Reading, passed away July 27, 2021 in the Reading Hospital Medical Center.

He was the beloved husband of Lidia Nunez, with whom he celebrated 40 years of loving marriage and companionship.

Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, he was the son of Flor Olacio and the late Sinencio Nunez.

Gabriel was a long time ordained Chaplain for 4 years, serving the community. He was also a foreman for his own company.

He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church

Gabriel enjoyed making others happy, dancing and eating, but his true love was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Gabriela Nunez and Angelica Jorge. He is survived by his 5 siblings, Nelson, Carmen, Sonia, Aurora, Fefey and predeceased by Reynaldo and Jose Antonio; two grandchildren, Edison Manon and Jenny Cabrera. His son's-in-law, Moises Cabrera and Elguin Manon (Tito), his nieces Gabriela Robles and Marleny Robles and numerous friends and family.

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 5th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple PA 19560 and Friday, August 6th, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1018 N 8th St, Reading, PA 19604, with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
