G. Audrey Periard

G. Audrey Periard, 75, formerly of Morrisville died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was born in Trenton, NJ. And was the daughter of the late Ernest Wilfred and Helen Vivian (Rake) Hobson. Audrey was a longtime resident of Morrisville before moving to the Reading, PA area 5 years ago to live near her daughter, Melissa and her family. She worked for many years at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company from where she retired. She was a 1952 graduate of Trenton High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, water color painting, making bird houses, and other crafts, watching M*A*S*H and "complaining". She enjoyed exercising and her friends at Body Zone. She had a unique sense of humor and loved joking with and teasing others, especially her kids and grandchildren. She was the loving mother of four children, Dean Anderson and his wife Bonnie, Warminster, Mark Anderson and his wife Meg, Mechanicsburg PA, Mel Periard and his wife Betsy, Doylestown PA and Melissa Cock and her husband Troy, Reading, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Grace, Kaleb, Aden, Emily, Sydney, Liam, Jesse, Gabriel and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Friday in the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton NJ.
