Fregenia C. Kline

Fregenia C. "Cookie" Kline, 68, passed away March 10, 2011 in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Katie B. (Mohn) Eddinger.

Cookie worked as a mailroom supervisor for Beaumont Heller and Sperling and was later self employed until her retirement.

She loved bowling and was a member of the Reading-Pottstown USBC. She also loved bingo and dinner theater.

She was a member of St. James Church, West Reading.

Cookie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Lucy M. Kline, wife of George Calancea, Sr., Reading. Also survivng are her four grandchildren: Rachel M. Calancea, George Calancea, Jr., Elizabeth E. Calancea, Joshua T. Calancea and two great-grandchildren: Joseph J. Pollock and Ava Calancea.

A Memorial Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Albany Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th St., Reading, PA 19604.
